Hello Jazz Battery Thelonious Monk fans,
We really hope to see you all at our public debut this Thursday at Lady Duff’s! Dave and Chris were there last week to sit in with The Mystic Undertone trio, who were gracious enough to turn over the bass and drum seats and let us jam with Jerred Blanchard the piano player. We played tunes by Herbie Hancock among others— and Monk of course! We did a funk version of Monk’s “Well You Needn’t”, you had to be there…
Consider having dinner at Lady Duff’s! The atmosphere is cool and casual and the menu is surprisingly diverse. I (Chris) had the branzino a couple weeks ago and it was exceptionally good. Seriously some of the best fish I’ve had in Santa Fe, I was very pleasantly surprised!
